Plan Types:
Multiemployer Plans: represent two multiemployer health and welfare plans
(self-funded plans), two multiemployer-defined benefit plans and one
multiemployer defined contribution plan.
Multiple Employer Plans: represent two defined contribution plans sponsored
by trade associations for their members.
Single-Employer Plans: represent a broad cross-section of single-employer
defined benefit and defined contribution plans, for large and small employers.
Church Plans: represent one defined benefit plan and one pre-ERISA money
purchase pension plan.
Other Retirement Plans: represent a retiree supplemental health plan for a
sheriff’s office and another for a fire district; a nonprofit 403(b) annuity plan; a
nonqualified 457(b) plan; and a length of service plan for a volunteer fire
department.

Plan Design and Compliance:
Experience in all phases of plan design and administration, including: drafting
all forms of prototype, volume submitter, and custom plans; advising
administrators and trustees regarding tax and ERISA issues, including
withdrawal liability issues; merging and terminating plans; representing plans
in IRS and DOL audits; and design and implementation of plan corrections
under the Employee Plans Correction Resolution System (IRS) and Voluntary
Fiduciary Correction Program (DOL).
